Cosco Terminal Ground Breaking Ceremony At Khalifa Port

The ceremony marked, not only the start of the construction phase of this important investment but also the signing of a new agreement that will fully strengthen the UAE’s trading ties with China.

Under the new agreement COSCO shipping Ports Company Limited will develop the largest Container Freight Station in the region.

Attendees included His Excellency Dr Sultan Ahmed Al Jaber, Minister of State and Chairman of Abu Dhabi Ports, His Excellency Ning Jizh, Vice Chairman, National Development and Reform Commission and Mr Xu Lirong ( Chou Leerong ), the Chairman of China COSCO Shipping Corporation.

We were tasked to turn around the event in just 4 days. This involved erecting a large marquee down at the new terminal, all logistics, Valet parking, red carpet, production, the signing ceremony table and props, Groundbreaking activation and catering.

Despite the very quick turn around the event was a massive success and both the COSCO and AD Ports teams were extremely grateful for our support.
