Kids Halloween Event

The weekend of 26th and 27th October saw a Halloween festival put together by Global Event Management. Complete with family entertainment, cookie decorating, pumpkin garden (pumpkins inclusive of pumpkin warts and all!), face painting, arts and crafts workshops and more, the kids of Dubai were treated to Halloween in true Dubai-style.

Our spooky maze was an alternative to the usual haunted house attraction, offering a hair-raising experience by giving more space for the surprise acts, random chases and jump scares (we can’t count the number of times kids and adults alike were frightened by our zombie clown – even going back purposefully for more scares!)

The Kids Zone brought a fun and creative edutainment element to the Halloween event, promoting imagination, creativity and participation through a variety of supervised workshops, painting, arts and crafts, fun activities and artistic demonstrations. The cookie decorating stations was an addition to the usual arts and crafts, where kids were given a pumpkin-shaped cookie to decorate with coloured icings, sprinkles, and other edible decorations. Two face painters were on standby for a zombie transformation (or something a little less tame if you preferred!).

The roaming entertainment was the highlight of the weekend. The creepy and amusing walkabout performers brought the event to life, with our “Day of the Dead” stilt walker, a zombie clown scaring everyone he came into contact with, and the adorable scarecrow stilt walker and pumpkin “witch” making for cool photo opportunities.
