Congo Investment Forum

Recently, Congo authorities have been working to create an environment conducive to corporate structures that promote and support international investment in various fields of activity, through tax and customs advantages and facilities. With this in mind, the Congo government created the Minister of International Cooperation and Promotion of Public-Private Partnership and decided to launch the Congo: Land of Opportunities Investment Forum in Dubai mid-December 2021 with the second edition following two days later in Abu Dhabi. The industries it featured were agriculture, telecommunications, tourism, infrastructure, mining, renewable energy and oil & gas. More than 200 delegates attended between both events.

GEM Events was honoured to be awarded with the total event planning for the project; marketing, creative support, design, production, décor, videography, photography, staging and AV and simultaneous translation with full on-ground implementation and execution of this investment forum. Both conferences featured a two-hour presentation with the Keynote speech being given by the Minister of International Cooperation and  Promotion of Public-Private Partnership, Denis Nguesso, followed by panel sessions exploring opportunities for eager investors.

The forums featured a bespoke 12m-curved LED screen set across an impressive Congo branded 17m stage, where keynote speeches, presentations and panel discussions took place. In addition to the chance to see what industries the Congo is offering for international investment, delegates enjoyed the networking lunch, and the opportunity for B2B meetings with the Minister and members of his cabinet.
