Global Event Management Group was contracted by the Italian Trade Agency to organise and manage the Invest In Italy Global Roadshow at the St.Regis Hotel in Habtoor City, Dubai, in November 2016.
The pre-event organisation involved inviting potential investors from around the UAE and the GCC region. The aim was to get 120 people to attend the event and GEM had less than 3 weeks to do so.
In attendance were the Italian Ambassador, Mr Liborio Stellino and the Secretary of State, Mr Ivan Scalfarotto. Topics of discussion involved structural reforms followed by a focus on investment opportunities across several asset classes and sectors. The presentations and speeches were followed by a 3-course lunch cooked by Giuseppe Mancino – the executive chef at the famous 2 Michelin-star restaurant, Piccolo Principe.
GEM were also responsible for all production and AV requirements, branding at the event, stage furniture including floral arrangements and the complete event management on the day.
Premiere Hostess, the hostess division at GEM, provided the hostesses for the event.
The event was a great success with over 100 attendees and several potential investment deals were discussed.
