UAE - Italy Business Forum
GEM were appointed by the Italian Trade Commission to run their UAE Business Forum at the Grand Hyatt hotel.
The event was a 3 day forum, which saw over 350 Italians fly into Dubai from the Energy, water, environment, Infrastructure and ICT sectors.
The Forum brought senior Ministers and government bodies together to discuss partnerships and alliances between Italian and UAE companies for some major projects happening in the UAE.
H.E Luigi Di Maio, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economic Development, Labour and Social Policy of the Italian Republic and H.E Sultan Saeed Al Mansoori, Minister of Economy of the United Arab Emirates lead the presentations and discussions relating to current and future strategies and projects.
GEM were tasked with all logistical arrangements, the transportations schedule over the 3 days, which included numerous site visits across the UAE to various UAE project sites, such as the EXPO 2020 site and Dubai science park. We were also in charge of all AV set up, branding, registration, Hostess management and décor.
GEM took control of all last minute requests such as VIP lunches, last minute transfers and assisted with delegate acquisition.
The event saw over 580 people attend and was deemed a massive success by the client.
