DIFC Global Finance Forum 2019

Global Event Management (GEM) were fortunate to be partnered with the Financial Times in organizing the 2nd edition of the DIFC Global Finance Forum.

The Forum gathered key financial services stakeholders including senior regulators and policymakers, economists, and leaders from global and regional banks, asset and wealth management firms, private equity, FinTech and more. They came together to discuss the next steps to build on the opportunities opening up in the Middle East, Africa and South Asia, and the potential emerging markets from China’s Belt and Road initiative.

The speakers highlighted the major growth sectors that are rich with possibility, and they strategized in open discussion on how to reposition, not only to leverage Dubai’s gateway location but to also adapt to new competitors and regulations.

GEM was responsible for organizing the forum, including all Production and AV requirements, branding, stand build and design, venue design, stage design, registration, all DTCM and DED permit applications, entertainment requirements, etc.

The event was deemed a huge success with over 600 attendees and the feedback from several clients was that it was very informative for their business needs.
