The Bostonbury Festival

In early March 2023 GEM Events organized and hosted the amazing Bostonbury Festival for a valued client. The event took place at the Park Hyatt Saadiyat, Abu Dhabi with more than 750 attendees.

The main goal for both the client and the GEM teams was to completely transform the hotel and deliver a fully immersive 2-day outdoor music festival with multiple stages, an amazing lineup of 15 local and international DJs and artists, where everyone could party until the early hours. Guests were treated to a variety of music genres as well as hits from international stars: Martin Solveig, Tinie Tempah and Fideles.

GEM team managed all of the accommodation and transportation requirements across two 5-star hotels on Saadiyat Island, creating bespoke festival menus and onsite activities.

Guests had a blast competing for branded “Bostonbury” prizes on our giant inflatable games along with kayaking, yoga sessions, sound healing meditation sessions and sunset drumming. There were also some pretty competitive paddle tennis and volleyball tournaments throughout the weekend for all guests to show off their skills in.

With a mixture of fun décor elements, art installations, a Tulum inspired walkway and DJ booth at the beach, Bostonbury branded furniture and props, food trucks and glitter artists, and an amazing main stage set up with the best CGI graphics, the hotel was transformed into a true festival site.

The team successfully delivered a great event that we are truly proud of. Roll on next year!
