Flamingo Beach, Mad Max & Ibiza White Party

GEM was appointed for the 4th year running to take care of a top Dubai consultancy’s annual outing.

This year we chose the 5 star Fairmont Fujairah resort.

The event saw 400 guests transported from Dubai on VIP coaches to stay at the exclusively bought out hotel.

On arrival, guests were treated to a Miami beach style pool party, with World-renowned Sax player Laura Fowles and Ben Santiago on the decks. Everything from the concept, design, props, pool games, photo opportunity and catering were taken into consideration and carefully planned by the GEM team.

After the guests were given time to change and prepare to meet at the front of the hotel where 10 pimped buggies, took them down to the Helipad where they were greeted with a dynamic array of entertainment.

Guests were greeted by a wall of fire performers, themed in our ‘Mad Max; inspired costumes. Amongst various fire displays, roamed the stilted ‘Calvos’ boys from the UK whose glass ball manipulations left guests in awe. Amongst the crowds, lit with neon lights were our bar flairs who made drinks for our guests in a very impressive juggling style. All of the entertainment was underscored by Ibiza based double act DJ Ben and Sax player Laura.

At our next venue, things turned to white! Our fire acts and Calvos all reappeared in white and silver costumes which commanded attention. After dinner, guests were treated to upbeat Ibiza disco performances by famous singer `Barbra Tucker’ and her troupe of dancers – with three costume changes and a guest performance by local singer Simone Cooper. Next, our audience witnessed an incredibly impressive laser light show which danced along to the tunes of DJ Q, a regular on the Ibiza club scene. The Finale for the night was International DJ, Javi Bora playing into the early hours.
