Smokin’ Pineapple at Nurai Island

GEM were tasked with finding a new and innovative venue along with a cool new theme for a client’s annual outing.

A Night to Remember on Nurai Island! 

Every year, our team at Global Event Management (GEM) takes things bigger and better — and this year was no exception! 🎉

For the AO 2017 event, we took our guests to the stunning Nurai Island off Saadiyat Island, swapping the traditional Burning Man theme for something uniquely our own: The Smokin’ Pineapple. 

The day kicked off with fun-filled team-building activities at a 5-star hotel in Abu Dhabi, followed by watersports, a mouth-watering BBQ, and plenty of sun. As the sun set, the island came alive with incredible performances, including:

Fire shows & dancers
A live band from Cyprus – Trio Frisson
DJ performances
Flair bar shows
And of course… the burning of the Smokin’ Pineapple on the beach!

Guests enjoyed gourmet food stations, a variety of cocktails, and even roasted marshmallows over open bonfires. 

Behind the scenes, our team ensured flawless logistics so everyone could relax and enjoy their time. The event was a huge success, and the feedback from our clients has been overwhelmingly positive!
