GEM was privileged to once again be asked to execute the End of year party for one of our Favorite and fun Clients!
Ideas started being discussed mid-way through the year as we really wanted to wow with something memorable and Magical. A theme of Fire and Ice was decided upon and one of our most unique ideas was underway. The Majestic Armani Hotel sat underneath the tallest building in the world was chosen as the perfect venue choice, with stunning views of the world renowned fountain show.
Guests were welcomed into a winter wonderland at the top of the grand Stair well by two stilt walking Ice Queens before passing through a snow-covered Eagle adorned gate. The magic continued as they then descended into the Cocktail and Canapé reception with falling snow, roaming centaurs and fawns, an ice bar and Ice throne covered with Faux Fur Rugs. Drinks were in keeping with the Winter theme and designed by our team with full of sparkle and Candy Canes. The Ambiance was created immediately on arrival by an Angel Winged Harpist who played throughout the reception drinks. A stunning Igloo with falling snow projection delivered the perfect Photo opportunity as the Cocktail reception ended and guests were invited to take their seats next door.
Partygoers then entered the Dining area, outdoors on the Armani pavilion with the Burj standing at 830 meters above and the Dubai Fountains as the Incredible backdrop. DJ Blaise began with upbeat tunes as the starter was served, and live Fire acts entertained during the Dinner. Hot Chocolate and marshmallows were offered from the open window of an outdoor Log Cabin after the Desert.
The highlight of the evening was a High Energy epic themed Vocal Battle performed on the two stages, one ice and one fire which wowed the audience with a medley of carefully selected songs! In addition to this one lucky guest won a beautiful trip to the Maldives, courtesy of the Standard hotel group, a partner of GEM Events. Guests then moved into the Hidden themed Nightclub with a DJ Duo who kept them on their toes until the early Hours…
